The Sharp Atomic Wall Clock is equipped with a built-in receiver that automatically syncs itself with the WWVB radio broadcast by the US Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. This ensures that the clock is always accurate to within one second, as it receives daily updates from WWVB.

The clock also comes with a Wireless Sensor that transmits the outdoor temperature to the Atomic Wall Clock. The sensor can be placed within 100 feet of the receiving unit, and no wire installation is required.

Setting up the clock is easy, and it even has an option to automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time. Simply turn on the Daylight Savings Time setting when setting up the clock.

The Atomic Clock's accuracy is guaranteed due to its built-in receiver that syncs with the WWVB radio broadcast from NIST. It will always be accurate to within one second, thanks to the daily updates it receives from WWVB.

In addition to the wireless sensor, the clock also displays the indoor and outdoor temperature. The wireless technology used in the sensor eliminates the need for any wire installation.

When setting up the clock, wait for the flashing atomic icon to stop before proceeding. In most areas, the signal can be received at night. If the clock doesn't receive the WWVB Atomic Signal immediately, wait overnight and it will be set in the morning.

The large 3" tall LCD time display makes it easy to read, making it convenient for use as either a wall clock or a desk clock, with an integrated stand. It's perfect for any place in your home.

Other features of the clock include displaying the calendar and the day of the week.

The main unit of the clock is powered by 3 AA batteries, while the sensor requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). The wireless sensor is included separately in the box, along with the clock.
